We think of our prosecuting agents as detached, objective harbingers of justice. However, at the end of the day these agents of the state are humans, or even worse: humans engaged in political competition.
Earlier today a combined task force of the Lake Charles Police Department, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, CAT, DEA, FBI and ICE led to dozens of arrests in the largest drug bust in Lake Charles history. According to KPLC:
