KPLC (via its facebook) reported the results form the DWI Checkpoint held on February 26, 2015. This is a copy of that post:
FROM THE LAKE CHARLES POLICE DEPARTMENT: On Feb. 26, the Lake Charles Police Department, in conjunction with the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission, conducted a DWI checkpoint at the intersection of Common Street and 17th Street. Approximately 413 vehicles passed through the checkpoint, resulting in one standardized field sobriety test and 16 citations for various traffic infractions. No arrests were made during this checkpoint.
This is the same DWI Checkpoint that I personally observed and posted about on the date in question.
413 Vehicles were affected.
One standardized Field Sobriety Test.
Remember. Your money (from one source or another) paid for these results.
